Integration of public transport.

The introduction of new rail vehicles in local public transport over a longer period of time has resulted in the reconstruction of all stops and facilities throughout the city. In terms of street space and design, this leads to considerable conflicts in many places.
At Daimlerplatz in Bad Cannstatt, an urban layout, public spaces and traditional design elements of high quality were affected. The trains, which are more than twice as long, elevated platforms and many other necessary installations completely change the situation.

The aim of the new planning was to acknowledge this and to develop a sustainable design of its own identity in the long term, which at the same time takes up and integrates features and design elements of the location.
