Redevelopment of a housing estate from the 30s
In the course of the construction work, the accumulating soil was pushed into the middle of the property, creating different height profiles. With the expansion of the attics and the construction of balconies, new fire department access roads became necessary, so that the courtyard as a whole had to be redesigned.
In order to emphasize the overall ensemble, it was important to develop a similar design concept for the different courtyards, but to give each individual courtyard its own identity.
