In front of the northern city wall, a continuous green corridor was created to compensate for the deficit of land in the medieval old town. As an important link between the old town, the school centre and the commercial area, this green corridor has an important recreational function in the city. Thus, not only the urgently needed parking spaces for the old town were accommodated here, but also a generous playground and a park were given space.
