The design of the main street in Sondershausen in the area of the main pedestrian zone and shopping street is mainly done with natural stone materials.
The historic street is emphasized by flat curbs (granite, face 3 cm) and a three-line channel on both sides (small paving granite). The street receives a historical flair through the use of a mixed granite paving laid in segmental arches.
The processing of high-quality materials and the grouting with mortar guarantees long-term durability and good walkability.
