The new neighbourhood square on Alaunstraße spans an area of approx. 900m² between the flight of steps of the new Dreikönigschule sports hall and the adjoining plot of Katy's Garage and connects to the adjoining footpath. The transition between the square space and the barn is formulated by a retaining wall with a cantilever. The specimen trees located to the northeast are retained and supplemented by a Paulownia tomentosa. Round tree platforms invite to the stay and offer simultaneous protection for the root areas of newly planted trees.
The surface of the place is manufactured from concrete paving in three different color nuances, which are distributed iridescent over the place surface.
About a central open staircase the free space of the barn with main entrance, which lies approx. 1.10 m higher to the place, is developed. A concrete retaining wall, curved in parts, separates the barn area from the adjacent square.
