Replacement of the 380 kV Bärwalde-Schmölln overhead line Ecological construction monitoring

50Hertz Transmission GmbH planned the replacement of the 380 kV Bärwalde - Schmölln line to increase the transmission capacity between the Bärwalde switching station near Boxberg and the Schmölln substation near Bischofswerda in the district of Bautzen. The approximately 46 km long high-voltage line includes 106 pylon locations.

The Förster planning office was commissioned by 50Hertz Transmission GmbH to carry out the ecological construction monitoring and accompanied the project before, during and also after the construction period.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

Supervision of the professional implementation of the required avoidance, minimisation, species protection and tree protection measures and the fulfilment of requirements and ancillary provisions of the planning approval decision including documentation,

ongoing reporting to the AG,

Achieving exceptions,

Evaluation and documentation of the initial condition of the old and new mast sites,

Advice in the selection of areas for construction site installation areas and coordination with the nature conservation authorities,

Acceptance of all occupied areas after recultivation or renaturation,

Acceptance of all used areas after recultivation or renaturation,

Acceptance of all used areas after recultivation or renaturation,

Acceptance of all used areas after recultivation or renaturation.

Recording of interventions not accounted for in the LBP and their subsequent balancing,

Moderation of conflicts,

Implementation of all amphibian protection measures,
