World of experience "Renewable Energies" in Staudt

The "Renewable Energies" experience world is centrally located in the village centre next to the fairground in Staudt. The main design feature is the adjacent Aubach with its near-natural design. By redesigning the bank, the element of water is given back its natural and experience-oriented function.
The renewable energy of the sun is demonstrated by setting up photovoltaic modules at the bright red info box. The element wind is implemented both visually and in its energetic meaning by a "small" wind turbine and also demonstrated with an approx. 9 m high upright wind vane. All power-generating energy sources will be combined in a central switching point in the multimedia info box and the energetic yield of the individual "renewable energies" will be demonstrated by means of visualisation models (touch screen, games, information). A charging station for e-bikes is to be installed at the info-energy box. The charging station will be integrated into a supra-regional cycling concept in the Westerwald.
The topic of bioenergy will be presented by planting renewable raw materials. For this purpose, planting areas are provided in which, for example, rape, sunflowers or fast-growing woods such as Miscanthus, Rumex etc. are cultivated. The energetic significance will be visualized via display boards and suitable media. The "Renewable Energies" world of experience implements the guiding theme of a near-natural, extracurricular place of learning, which makes "nature as an important basis of life" and "its sustainable development" a conscious and active experience through the partly playful exploration of experiential spaces, see.
