The Angerplatz is located in Markdorf's new development area "Markdorf Süd". The planning was developed on the basis of two planning workshops with citizens. The aim and idea of the overall design is to create a neighbourhood square with a high quality of stay for all user groups. A central visual axis will be placed over the Angerplatz, which connects the center in the north with the open landscape in the south.
The square is defined by the surrounding buildings and extends over the adjacent streets, which are designed traffic-calmed.
