PLAYGROUND MARIENTHALER STRASSE Playing in the heart of the neighbourhood

The playground Marienthaler Straße in the middle of the district Eilbek was characterized before its redesign by simple asphalt surfaces, several small sand play areas, as well as outdated playground equipment.

In the course of a public participation, a new and modern children's playground with a variety of different uses was created. Thus a new football field, a sand play area for small children and one for older children as well as a basketball and table tennis area were created.

The heart of the playground is an individual and artistically designed water play area in different levels, modeled from sandstone blocks. New benches and lawns invite you to linger.
