In front of the stately three- to four-storey listed residential complex in Munich-Laim by architect Emil Freymuth, 1931, the newly created underground car park extends over a length of approx. 120 m - on the surface characterised by a green concept of strictly cut vegetation forms matching the monument concept. The transparently designed underground car park entrance and exit, as well as covered stairs for pedestrians and air shafts correspond with red thorn groves, low hedge pieces, privet cubes and boxwoods, which structure the green space and bring it to aesthetic effect.
Block inner courtyard
Various hedges - copper beech, copper beech, cornelian cherry - divide the lawn area into garden spaces that can be used in a variety of ways, with reading corners, sunbathing areas, children's play areas and seating areas. The garden, which is also characterised by perennials, is loosely overlaid by trees.
Redesign Ettenhueber Street
The private residential street is maintained and traffic calmed with a few stylistic means that fit the monument.
By narrowing the street width and raising the pavement within the gateway, traffic is slowed down and parking along the street is excluded.
