"Green oasis in the stone downtown".

The inner courtyard, which today is largely sealed off, will be developed as a green garden courtyard in accordance with its significance for the history of the city and its specific use. In reference to the formerly existing green structures in the urban environment on the Rochusberg, characterized by the city wall, moat and monastery garden, the formal garden is interpreted in contemporary landscape architectural language.
Formal garden elements, such as geometrically strictly formulated lawns and shrub areas, overlaid with small-crowned deciduous trees (field maple high trunks) are used in the present design concept.
The design of the inner courtyard as a contemplative lounge area serves the recreation of the future users of the building complex. In accordance with this usage requirement, it is equipped with generous seating elements.
In addition, it assumes an important representative function through the view from the surrounding foyer and office zones.
