Renewal of the railway overpass at Enzendorf

DB NETZ AG intends to renew a railway overpass over a municipal road near Enzendorf, municipality of Hartenstein, on the railway line 5903 from Nuremberg to Schirnding.

The renewal of the railway overpass will be carried out in 2015 due to its poor structural condition.

Protective measures and compensation measures such as woody plantings and the restoration of extensive grassland have been specified as part of the approval planning, which are to be implemented as part of the execution planning.

Due to the proximity to the FFH area "Pegnitz between Michelfeld and Hersbruck" and the risk of damage to the area, an ecological construction monitoring is carried out, which monitors and documents the construction work.
