Life at the Ostpark Munich-Neuperlach Residential environment with communal open spaces and play facilities for 150 apartments and a children's crèche

By linking existing green corridors, planning new large-scale facilities, unsealing paved areas as far as possible and reducing the existing ungreened parking areas, new, coherent green spaces will be created. The green areas to the west will be equipped with playgrounds. The integration into the public space and the offer of high-quality and nature-oriented play is decisive for the design. The play area to the west of the new building is intended for the planned day care centre.

The greening of the roof surfaces of the new building ensemble supports the intended overall landscape architectural concept.

A continuous avenue connects the area of Plettstraße with the existing buildings on Albert-Schweitzer-Straße and becomes an identity-forming and space-creating element through the characteristic planting of cherry trees. Within the building ensemble, the widening of the avenue creates a square situation that can be played with furniture and various furnishing elements.

The landscaped planting in loose groups of trees, extensive lawns and accentuating flower and grass perennials form a harmonious overall design of the surrounding open spaces.
