A new house - flawless in its clear, simple-modern lines.
The comparatively small garden area was to be just the opposite: space to play, relax unobserved, romp, swim - reminiscent of grandmother's garden in the planting, inviting to nibble, not too colorful and particularly opaque.
The uniformity of the house architecture with the garden architecture should always be maintained.
The design: Natural stone materials, pristine in their material appeal - used in unagitated lines,
Bamboo plantings by the pool with wooden deck - simple plant forms that provide the appropriate soundscape for dreaming of distant landscapes when moved,
Gnarled, older pines - dark green against the architectural white of the house, bulky growths against a plain backdrop
perennial plantings - a mix, wild like grandmother's flower gardens and meadows, with new aspects throughout the year, snacking shrubs interspersed,
discreet garden lighting adds nighttime focal points, making this private garden a continuous experience.
