Daheim - The title as a program, a garden for the whole family:
'Generation garden', island of rest, field of experimentation and experience, external play and living room, feel-good garden, home garden.
These keywords can be used to describe and summarize the design of the garden.
With a tree house, sand play area, fruit and snacking shrubs, revitalized natural stone wall and a lush selection of different fragrant and flowering plants, the garden is a constantly changing adventure playground, a space for gathering different experiences for young and old.
The slightly introverted, outwardly protective basic design hints at boundaries, gives the garden a protective cuddly aspect, but without excluding itself. The conversation over the garden fence stands here on an equal footing with the desire for retreat, a space to relax and enjoy.
The self-production of epicurean ingredients is complemented by lush flower flooring, both intertwine and are not separated in the arrangement to each other, a constantly changing image over the year with many memories of grandmother's garden.
The materials do not come from distant lands, they are also 'here at home', mostly already long traditional and need not be expensive. Their combination, the composition creates a new context, a changed appearance.
A garden for the whole family, for different demands, a private garden in which everyone can find themselves again.
