A 47 m long "water architecture" picks up the historical axis from the station square to the old town centre. Cool groundwater bubbles out of the fountain, runs in green walls, cascades and basins. Finally, it falls back over a waterfall into the underground stream of the gravel plain. Vaterstetten welcomes refreshingly: "Green connects - gravel, water, parks"!
The old station square and the ramp to the S-Bahn station have been redesigned into a representative visiting card of Vaterstetten.
The traffic-calmed square, which previously presented itself as an asphalt bus turnaround at the new parking garage, has been upgraded with seat walls and level paving with concrete and natural stones. Business forecourts and parking garage surroundings with a café have become a meeting place for young and old.
