Conversion of a listed Wilhelminian barracks area into a university and media campus.

In close coordination with the preservation of historical monuments, the urban ensemble is supplemented with 4 pavilion-like buildings to intensify its use.
The basic structure of the former barracks courtyard, which is open to all uses, is underlined by a continuous asphalt surface.
All development functions follow the guiding principle of shared space.
Outdoor areas without a development function are unsealed under ecological aspects and greened accordingly.
In line with the new usage requirements, recreation areas with sparse birch groves are implanted in the listed existing structure.
They significantly determine the landscape architectural intervention.
