Initial situation - the existing ensemble is characterised by higher point houses in moderately modelled open lawn and meadow areas. The freely grouped tree population defines open and closed spaces. Private garden zones are not present.

Playground and communal facilities are assigned to the entrance areas in accordance with the orthogonal development concept and cut slightly into the built topography. The open spaces are largely free of subsequent alterations. Due to the intact overall appearance, the entire ensemble is an expression of the urban planning and landscape architectural dialogue of the time of its creation.
Gesatltungskonzept - the present development concept respects the existing open space structures. Functional and design deficits are eliminated through moderate interventions in the context of the existing structures. The present concept responds to the changed resident structure by a more flexible coupling of play and recreational qualities in the common areas. The development concept is subject to a design catalogue, which makes the landscape-architectural interventions legible in form, colour or materiality in relation to the existing structures.
