The special ecological feature of this open-space photovoltaic system (1.87 ha installation area, polycrystalline modules) is based on the integration of existing terrain and woody structures. Thus, the plant is divided into several fields, which leave out a long, partly wooded vine as well as a hedge. The total area covers 5.16 ha.
The area is located within a 110 m wide corridor next to the motorway A 93. According to EEG, it is therefore considered connected and is eligible for compensation.
On the part of the lower nature conservation authority the concession was made to take out individual grown up trembling poplars from the tendril. An approximately 12 m high stalked oak was preserved in the east, as well as an approximately 15 m high spatially effective sycamore with overhanging crown.
Because of the diverse marginal greening measures (plantings and green spaces 62.4%) and the protection of the hedge landscape, the compensation factor is 0.15. This results in a compensation requirement of 2,810 m².
Within the area of application, the compensation areas can be provided in the Nordeck on the A 93 motorway and in the valley area in the east (1,011 m² replacement planting for the removal of trembling poplars from a hedge and 2,810 m² extensive grassland). This will strengthen the networking band of hedges and vines in its biotope function.
The adjacent slope area to the east will be included in the area of application. Here, as a minimization measure, extensive care is established and thus ensured.
