With the redesign of the site, the identity of the location was preserved and given a new character. Characteristic elements of the former use were preserved and integrated into a landscaped site. The addition of new elements makes it a unique place with a special atmosphere for recreational and leisure use.
The area of the new landscape park is limited to the core area of the outdoor pool complex, a clearing surrounded by tall and dense pine forest. Similar to a passe-partout, the area was punched out and marked by a wide path. Within the path, the former sunbathing lawn was preserved and planted with fruit trees. By planting regional, historical fruit tree varieties, a piece of lost cultural landscape was restored and preserved for future generations. An experience space has been carefully integrated into the center of the garden. Various old and new water-themed objects can be discovered and played with. The almost completely filled-in swimming pools also offer space for sport and play.
To the south of the large meadow, nature will reclaim its place. Natural succession will be encouraged on a narrow strip of various existing and newly created fields.
