The five-star hotel, which opened in Frankfurt in 2006, encloses a centrally located, landscaped inner courtyard with its four new buildings and the listed "Villa Speyer". The defining element of this courtyard is a newly planted, 15-metre-high swamp oak with a tree height of 120 cm, which was lifted by crane over the building into the courtyard. High-quality natural stone slabs made of greywacke, a shallow stainless steel water basin with low fountains that is illuminated at night, as well as herbaceous borders lend this square an elegant atmosphere that further enhances its gastronomic use. In keeping with the historic character of the hotel complex, the prestigious driveway of yellow granite cobblestones is laid in segmental arches. A row of amber trees borders the underground car park exit and provides visual protection from the neighbour. A small wellness garden with iris ribbons borders the indoor swimming pool. The extensive rhododendron and shrub plantings in the entrance and front garden area are also special eye-catchers, underlining the exclusive character of the complex.
