Skateplaza Minden

An approx. 800 m² skate plaza is being built directly on the banks of the Weser at the Weserstadion.

The Skateboard Verein Minden e. V. has realized the project on its own initiative and has also financed the construction project entirely through donations.

When planning the plaza, the existing work of art (stone sculpture with wall) had to be integrated.

The result was a park ("skate" park) with sculptural-artistic aesthetics on a relatively small area of 800 m².

What distinguishes the skate park from other facilities is the combination of ramps and street elements as well as the different riding surfaces that resemble the character of a public square
