The new building project is located in the garden monument area of the Potsdam cultural landscape at the Böttcherberg in Klein-Glienicke.
A low-maintenance, clearly and strictly structured garden has been created for the residential building being built here in a restrained classical design, with a light rendered façade, dark roof and dark shutters, doors and gates. The existing large tree vegetation in the opposite park area and in the south of the property gave the scale and formed the framework for site-appropriate additions of open lawns, cut and free-growing specimen trees, wild fruit trees and a near-natural perennial planting without special color accents.
The private rear garden section has been enclosed with an evergreen hedge, the front garden opens to the street with a steel fence divided by pillars. Paving is limited to the necessary areas, the paving is restrained and simple in design, the basic colour is grey. Smaller recreational areas are located in front of the building as terraces in the south and east, the lawns offer space for rest and play.
