Gail's Park in Biebertal-Rodheim Park maintenance work for the restoration and maintenance of the landscape park

The park maintenance work analyzes history and inventory, regulates the renovation work that has begun and makes specifications for further maintenance and development for the next decades.

The English landscape park in Rodheim an der Bieber was laid out around 1895 by the famous landscape architects Andreas Weber and Heinrich Siesmayer, who had already designed the Frankfurt Palmengarten.
What is remarkable about the park is the ingenious division of space, the clever shaping of the terrain despite the limited size of the area and the imaginative routing. Interesting enrichments of the park are a Swiss house, a ceramic clock tower, an ice cellar concealed with a hut facade, a pavilion (clock tower), the garden for children and the villa built according to the plans of the architect Franz von Hoven in 1896/97.
Another special feature is the abundance of over 135 species of woody plants. In the smallest space, gingerbread tree, ginkgo and sequoia tree stage the individual park images.

The circle of friends Gail'scher Park, founded in 2000, has succeeded in making the park as an important garden monument accessible to the public.
