Fish market Wolgast

The illuminated stages founded in the water draw attention to the harbour and fish market area especially at night with their iridescent light. Near the Amazonenbrücke to the Schlossinsel a terrace was created, which contributes to the revival of the fish market through its gastronomic use. The adjoining section to the north-west with its adjoining car park has mainly an access function and takes up existing design elements of the old town. With the completion of the measure, the prerequisite for the revitalization of an important area of the old town in its attractive location on the Peene River and its historical significance has been created.
