The house garden covers an area of around 800 square metres and consists of two areas. The front garden on the street is semi-public without a boundary fence and with the garage access. This area is planted with a large swamp oak as the dominant shrub and numerous rhododendrons and azaleas. An agitated, slightly landscaped design and seating in front of the house give the front garden a pleasantly open atmosphere.
Like the house, the garden is on two different levels. A narrow path leads past the building into the private area of the garden, which is a few steps lower. Here a ginkgo and oaks are the leading trees. A rectangular water basin and a round seating area refer to the architecture and form the continuation of the central axis of the house. Natural plantings of perennials, shrub roses and free-growing woody plants form the picturesque border. Surrounding hedges enclose the garden space and shield it from the neighbourhood, yet the view of the high superstructures of the passing ships remains.
