Construction of a vocational high school FOS/BOS with multiple gymnasium Unterschleißheim

In addition to its function, the varied and openly designed open space has a high quality of stay and forms an extension of the school playground. The spacious movement and break area is largely paved. Variety is created by loosely interspersed planting areas consisting of groups of trees, flowering shrubs and grasses. These green interruptions are additionally equipped with seating.

The higher, spacious playground is a place to stay and communicate and at the same time forms the representative entrance area of the school building. A combined staircase and ramp system forms the opening of the square, through which the main entrance as well as the opposite entrance of the sports halls can be reached.

The designed square area creates a pleasant lounge for students and teachers.
The space is dominated by a multi-stemmed blossom tree in a multifunctional usable pedestal.

The 'boulevard', stretched between the existing green corridor and the new building, runs along the western property boundary.
