The students are provided with different types of seating: straight concrete benches with larch wood overlays in the area of the pergola with its canopies, as well as mobile seating elements in the playground, which invite communication and relaxation in the shade of the deciduous trees.
The BURRI Landscape seating elements known from the MFO Park in Zurich can not only be used as solitaires, but can also be combined with each other to form seating landscapes. This modularity of the altogether 9 seating elements allows the pupils a variable, individual or cooperative design of the break yard and thus responds to the different needs of the children and their requirements for a modern break yard. Due to the weight of the individual elements, moving them is only possible in the community - and if everyone pitches in, something completely new is always created together.

The modern building material concrete was used as the defining material for all paths and squares, in part with high-quality non-slip surfaces and attachments. The band of slabs already begun in the west was consistently developed up to Schulstraße as the main collection path and underlines the west-east orientation of the building
The large-format slabs contrast with the otherwise small-format paving in 40 x 20 cm format, which in sections as lawn paving provides a friendly green accent and allows surface water to seep away more easily. On the generously paved area, the pupils of the secondary school find sufficient running and playing zones for a creative and individual break design.
