New residential buildings and generous open spaces are being built on the former Bundeswehr barracks site (Emsauenpark).
The overall planning of the Emsauenpark is the responsibility of landscape architects Junkers and colleagues.
We were commissioned with the technical and detailed planning of the dirt facility.
The planning was developed and coordinated with the young people in a workshop.
We guided the young people in the construction of the facility and helped them build their own dirt facility.
The system is designed so that even inexperienced children and young people can ride on the practice parkour (pump track).
Three different riding lines (combinations of mounds) at different heights and distances from each other have been built for advanced youngsters.
The starting point for the advanced riders is a decommissioned overseas container.
