The Neurosurgical and Neurological University Hospital will be merged in a new building in the future. The Neurocentre will be built directly onto the existing building of the Surgical University Hospital.
The outdoor facilities at the Neurocentre are harmoniously integrated into the existing building.
The main entrance to the Neurocentre will have a slabbed granite surface, the connection to the clinic's pedestrian axis will be made of red paving clinker. Various technical functional areas such as the fire brigade roundabout, the service yard or the entrance for patients lying down are also arranged outside.
Earth modelling in the area of the planting areas forms the transition to the adjacent park landscape of the 1st Medicine.
The Prunus 'Accolade' trees already planted in the previous sections of the clinic axis are continued as a motif as guide trees. The single-storey side wings of the neurocentre are provided with an extensive green roof.
