Technology Center Groz-Beckert

On the top floor of the Groz-Beckert technology centre, six roof terraces provide attractive roof gardens as recreational areas for employees.

From the offices, there are a variety of visual relationships to the individual gardens. For each garden, by using a selected combination of materials and plants an individual topic was worked out.

In the gardens directed to the souht the topic clay & sage, stone & lavender as well as rose & wood was taken up. The gardens directed to the north take up the topic gravel & azalea, water & grasses as well as metal & leaves. Function and valence of the gardens was treated of equal rank. Especial value was taken on the aspects of care and accessability. In averag two third of the area are walkable and only one third planted.
