The town house on Berliner Platz in Giessen houses the Giessen municipal administration with its citizens' office and the municipal library. The square in front of the building is framed by the clear structure of the Stadthaus and the new cinema building. The design picks up on the building forms and façade design and projects these as uniform stripes onto the square area. In the rear area, the adjacent renaturalized Wieseck is made accessible and can be experienced through a stream terrace with seating.
