Gießen authority centre Renovation and partial redesign of the outdoor facilities

The open spaces of the authority centre in Gießen with the headquarters of the tax office and parts of the university were completely renovated. Lawns and planting areas worthy of preservation were maintained and reworked as far as possible. In some areas, new plantings, recreational areas and pathways were added. A consistent design concept for lights, waste bins, benches, bicycle stands and gates was implemented, so that a modern, harmonious image of the outdoor area was created in harmony with the historic buildings. In addition, the traffic facilities were renovated and supplemented by a new large car park. Access roads were paved with asphalt, parking spaces were paved with percolating paving. In the course of the road construction work, the drainage media were also renovated.
