The castle complex fulfils a highly representative appearance. The castle is surrounded by a park and adjacent forest. The planning area covers a size of more than 50,000m². The entire complex is under monument protection, the nature conservation requirements are diverse.
The park includes more than 300 trees with trees to be integrated and worthy of protection.
Natural monuments and large old tree population were to be integrated in the planning. In addition to the restoration of facilities and walls and the requirement for design, the production of paved surfaces for car and truck loads is also in the foreground. The functional requirement led to the creation of robust asphalt surfaces, which were brightened up by plastic coatings. The use of natural stone enhanced the open space. The use of water-bound pavement was required in many places to emphasize the park character and was mandated by the preservation order.
