New construction of a residential building with supermarket



This project is a prime example of inner-city redensification. There used to be a small supermarket on the site. This was demolished and replaced by a building with a 2-storey underground garage, a significantly larger supermarket on the ground floor and 3 further floors with high-quality apartments. As the ground floor primarily had to accommodate access functions such as entrances, deliveries, waste disposal, etc., the open spaces were created on the roof areas: On the roof of the first floor there is a playground with a sandpit and play equipment as well as recreational areas for the residents, while a roof garden was built on the roof of the 3rd floor, with a view of the entire Alpine chain.
