In the west of Heslach, the valley floor of the Nesenbach forms a narrow, striking urban band, bordered by the almost parallel streets of Böblinger Straße and Burgstallstraße.
At the turn of the century, the Südheim-Siedlung formulated the urban development band in the valley bottom in a way that is still convincing today. Hengerer forms a three-part square front to Südheimer Platz, which is being developed together with Südheim-Siedlung, with a projecting central building and recessed corner buildings, which are then accentuated by towers / oriel towers. Based on this, a 3-part square structure is developed, with square bands running in the longitudinal direction of the valley, which are occupied and formulated with different uses - tree canopy; festival meadow and hedge gardens. Südheimer Platz has always been a neighbourhood square characterised by greenery and should remain so.
In front of Hengerer's listed buildings that characterise the square, the bands will be combined into a large common square.
