In this redesign of a church square, the church was first exposed - and thus placed in the right light again. The shrubbery surrounding the church was cleared and replaced by fieldstone paving and water-bound path surfaces. Large-format sandstone slabs now invite into the church, church and town hall square received a new visual connection through the sensitive redesign of the existing staircase.
The former chestnut round in the north was supplemented by new plantings, and the large linden meadow east of the church received a stone at the intersection of the paths to commemorate the dead in this former cemetery.
