Based on the linear architecture of the house, the garden is designed with a linear structure. The materials are specifically selected to match the pre-greyed wooden façade: black basalt, anthracite-colored metal, shell limestone and travertine in warm grey tones. The evergreen planting of the yew hedge and individual areas of ornamental grasses create an informal atmosphere with the perennials and ornamental grasses. The swimming pool by the house is secured by a black net fence as long as the children are small. The mountain and lake views through mature trees across the cow pasture are kept open.
As part of the Gardens of the Year 2020 competition, this garden was selected as one of the 50 most beautiful private gardens of 2020. In addition, the design received a recognition award as a harmonious overall concept for a perfect link between architecture and landscape.
