Not far from the centre of Pfeffenhausen, a riverside garden for the citizens could be implemented directly on the Große Laaber.
In the course of the new construction of a senior citizens' centre, a facility for assisted living and in connection with hydromorphological improvements along the Große Laaber, a recreational area could be created which also acts as a retention area.
The riverside garden with barrier-free seating under a pergola and near-natural seating by the water also serves as a resting place for cyclists.
The varied shoreline design with initial plantings creates a flowing transition into the landscape. This created a 'wild' garden for citizens and insects with water management improvements - almost as a side effect.
