City Garden Paradise, Cologne

The modern new building and the old trees on the site, which were to be preserved, provided an exciting framework for the planning.

The garden was divided into four levels, which offer versatile possibilities:
The terrace at the house merges seamlessly into the living and kitchen area of the building. For larger family gatherings, the adjacent lawn can be shared. A special element at the pool, which invites year-round swimming and romping, is the combination of privacy screen, lounging area, garden shed and cabinet. The lounge corner adjacent to the garage also houses a barbecue smoker.
A family-friendly garden has been created which, despite its modernity, does not appear sterile. Lively plantings contrast with the straightforward and minimalist basic design, which unites the house, front garden and garden as a single unit.
