The outdoor facilities of the residential development Mainzer Landstraße 395 consist of a generous inner courtyard, a greened intermediate area in the south, the outdoor facilities of a day-care centre and a front garden area in the north.

Unconventionally, no demarcated tenant gardens are assigned to the ground-floor apartments; instead, a generous open space flows around the private outdoor terraces. A meander of development paths softens the severity of the development.

Urbanity and the semi-public community zone develops in the oval of the center, a play and exercise area with a variety of seating options. A tree oval of attractive rock pines zone these areas and create their own design and spatial qualities.

The outdoor area of the daycare center integrates diverse play opportunities using the existing structural topography of the underground parking garage access.
