The inner courtyard of Immobilienscout 24 is designed as a continuous square with homogeneous paving. Plant islands are interspersed in the paving, their amorphous shapes harmonizing with the design of the interior.
The courtyard serves as a recreational area and is occasionally used for events. Seating platforms have been arranged at the edges of the flower beds. These are designed as a steel structure with wooden decking. The building zones that require screening (conference and interview rooms) have large planting islands in front of them. The outdoor areas of the Scout Lounge and Bistro will be cleared and offer space for outdoor seating. An easy-to-walk-on pavement made of light-colored cast stone paving is chosen for the floor, which is formally oriented towards the amorphous plant islands.
A new smoking area is arranged in a widening between the planting area and the water basin and designed as a protected area with an awning. The existing bollard luminaires will be retained and the lighting will be supplemented by effect lighting in the plant beds.
The planting consists of shade-tolerant grasses and perennials, into which the existing spherical maples have been integrated.
