"Hofgrün" is an initiative by students, staff and lecturers from the Design degree program who are working together to create a new place for urban living in the inner courtyard. The project was launched in 2010 in collaboration with the operators of the Prinzessinnengarten. Students from the 2nd semester design and maintain a kitchen garden made of mobile planters and produce horticultural products there.
hochC contributes its design and gardening skills to the project in regular gardening sessions.
In the meantime, the courtyard has developed into a small, inspiring oasis. The joint work bears fruit that can be harvested by all students and staff. The green courtyard is a place of communication and exchange, a place where you can reward yourself with a sweet, home-grown strawberry at the end of a hard day at university.
