At the Irisstraße playground in the Blumensiedlung, emphasis is placed on an inclusive play landscape due to the local proximity to Lebenshilfe Nordhorn. A diverse range of activities is implemented that offers play opportunities for all children. The equipment is barrier-free or can be accessed with assistance. There are places for togetherness and retreats and sensory and movement-promoting elements are taken into account. In terms of design, the theme of flowers is incorporated in the form of motifs on the play equipment. Various pieces of play equipment offer a variety of challenges for all children. The wide paths are not only accessible for baby carriages and wheelchairs, but also serve as a race track for bobby cars and balance bikes. A special, inclusive play area is the platform set up in the sand area, which is wheelchair-accessible. A wheelchair-accessible sand play table with sand elevator and sand channel can be reached here.
