Landscape plan and environmental assessment for the FNP Waldenbuch-Steinenbronn a good combination

The landscape plan and the environmental assessment for the land use plan complement each other.

For the landscape plan for the Waldenbuch-Steinenbronn land use plan, the importance of the districts as habitats for plants and animals, for soil protection, water availability, the local climate and the air-hygienic balance as well as for the landscape was assessed across the whole area and a representation of the protected areas was drawn up.

This landscape assessment forms an important basis for the assessment of the planned urban developments in the environmental assessment for the land use plan. For the environmental assessment, the effects of the land use plan on biodiversity, people and their health, cultural and material assets, Natura 2000 sites, emissions, waste and waste water, the use of renewable energies, the presentation of other environmental plans and the maintenance of the best possible air quality were also assessed, for which the initial state was also determined.

On the basis of its landscape assessment, the landscape plan makes proposals for the protection, maintenance and development of the districts for the various protected assets.
In addition, a landscape plan can also take on further tasks, such as the concrete development of a biotope network concept, a local climate adaptation concept or a heavy rainfall analysis.

The result of the joint processing was presented in an overarching basic part, the landscape development planning and an environmental report for the Waldenbuch-Steinenbronn land use plan.
