In 2015, adidas announced a competition to find a coherent overall concept for the outdoor facilities of the existing and new campus on the occasion of the large-scale campus expansion of its headquarters in Herzogenaurach.
The winning design aims to create an attractive open space for employees in Herzogenaurach that allows maximum flexibility and creativity for collaboration. In doing so, an ambience is created through structure, design and a wide range of uses on the areas of the adidas site, which is intended to offer employees an ideal and appealing working environment in every respect.
With the design of the adidas World of Sports in the South Campus, the first step was taken towards implementing the overall concept for the outdoor facilities.
