Gelsenkirchen Skatepark Skatepark Hasselt

The city of Gelsenkirchen commissioned us to plan a new skate park in the Hassel district park. In coordination meetings with the future users, a concept was developed that meets all requirements from a structural and sporting point of view.



A wide range of trend sports will be created on the central square area of the district park, framed by trees and uniformly designed furniture. Here you can skate, BMX, scooter or inline skate. There will also be opportunities for wheelchair motocross (WCMX) and basketball.




Visitors strolling through the district park can watch the sporting activities and those interested can join in. A graffiti concrete wall can be sprayed by future users. The facility will also be illuminated so that nothing stands in the way of leisure activities in the evening.
