From the point of view of urban history, the architecturally clear structuring of the square and a spatial frame to the street are particularly important. The square is enclosed by a 50 cm high wall, which also serves as a seating area. In this way, the former building line is clearly marked without the enclosure restricting the view of the square. Towards Klosterstraße, a bed with planting strips of roses, grasses and lavender as well as hornbeam hedge elements acts as a screen. The existing large chestnut tree is integrated into the wooden platform made of native larch, which also includes a sand play area for children. Within the adjacent lawn, a number of sculptural play objects provide further stimulation for children. A number of ornamental cherries have been arranged on the lawn. In addition, the historic water pump from Zinna was integrated into the square design and made functional again.
