The theme of the kitchen garden is taken up in the redesign of the area and translated into a modern design language. Raised beds, embedded in a lawn area, are arranged perpendicular to the cloister building and edged with Corten steel. Medicinal plants and herbs, vegetable plants, bible plants, scented plants and ornamental plants grow in the raised beds, sorted and labeled according to theme. Embedded in the design principle of the intensively designed strips is the "Long Table", a 9 m long table with benches at the sides. The western end of the monastery garden is formed by a steel pergola with climbing ropes, entwined with fragrant climbing roses and real vines. The floor of the pergola is paved with a water-bound path surface and flanked by benches. In the south of the monastery garden there is a play area designed for small children.
