For this schoolyard design, we were allowed to reach a little wilder than usual into the color palette and are thrilled with the result. The new plastic sports field becomes an experience field through brightly coloured circles, zig-zag lines and integrated trampolines, which is play stimulating and innovative. The fall protection provided by the EPDM material allows the children more freedom of movement during breaks and in sports lessons and reduces the risk of injury. In addition, a new drainage system was developed that uses infiltration trenches under the built-up area to drain off rainwater with a time delay. Our specialist partner Weitzel Sportstättenbau did a very good job of putting the school's special wishes into practice. Many thanks for this!
A natural contrast to this is provided by curved seating fences made of rustic oak and a newly created school garden, which encourages participation. The open all-day primary school Gottfried-Keller-Straße Norderstedt can thus write a special commitment to sports through innovative and colorful movement areas on the flag close to the awards "energy saving school" or "certified school of the future".
